The Cowboy Chapter is the only AFA chapter in Wyoming and has a proud heritage and history of support to our air force members and their families in Wyoming. This includes the 90th Missile Wing and 20th Air Force, stationed at F. E. Warren AFB, the Wyoming Air National Guard’s 153rd Airlift Wing, Air Force ROTC Detachment 940 at the University of Wyoming, Air Force JROTC at Cheyenne East High School, and the Wyoming Civil Air Patrol.

The AFA Cowboy Chapter provides strong support in Cheyenne and we pride ourselves on exceptionally active support to the local “Air Force Family,” including annual events such as the annual Air Force Ball, military quarterly & annual award ceremonies, deployed spouse & family events, “Cookies for Christmas” & “Treats for Troops” during the holidays, Thunderbird Enlisted Barbeque and visits to the Cheyenne VAMC.

Chapter Meetings — Monthly on 2nd Tuesday at 11:00am at the Chadwell Dining Facility on FE Warren AFB (6107 10th Cavalry Ave).
